SAPI  (Small Arms Protective Inserts)

When worn in conjunction with an NIJ level IIIA vest, the SAPI provides ballistic protection from specific high powered 5.56 mm and 7.62 mm rounds.  Armacel’s SAPI plates are of one type and follow an edge to edge materials design.  Sizes are built in X-Small, Small, Medium, Large and X-Large.

ESAPI (Enhanced Small Arms Protective Inserts)

When worn in conjunction with an NIJ level IIIA vest, the ESAPI provides ballistic protection from specific  Armor Piercing 7.62 mm rounds including all threats under the SAPI system.  Armacel’s ESAPI plates are of one type and follow an edge to edge materials design.  Sizes are built in X-Small, Small, Medium, Large and X-Large.

Aircraft Armor

Utilizing Armacel’s proprietary shield technology renders one of the lightest and most robust solutions for Aircraft Armor.  Past designs include advanced lightweight floor armor for the Sikorsky Blackhawk Helicopter.  Armacel’s designs can be configured to be fire resistant and have a non-skid surface area.
